Political and philosophical thinking of Sri Aurobindo cannot be divided into two separate streams because the basis of all his political thinking rests on spiritual and moral principles. Under which the contemplative form of his philosophy is hidden. Thus Aurobindo’s nationalism is not simply a political plan or intellectual idea but is also a spiritual endeavor of a God-given religion.
Nationalism is a form of active religion. Whose main or main weapon is spiritual. Arvind believed. That the national movement of India will surely get success one day. Therefore, in his view, Swaraj is not just political freedom. The meaning of Swaraj is to include the entire humanity under the spiritual guidance.
To end the national oppression, Arvind actively supported Shakti along with the Satyagraha movement. Political freedom is important for a nation and the security of the nation should be protected at all costs, no matter what appropriate means are adopted for it.
Sri Aurobindo Ghosh fully agreed that for the prestige and glory of the nation, a person should dedicate his life wholeheartedly. Only by identifying himself with the nation can a person achieve any kind of achievement. In his view, the nation is not just a group of individuals, the nation is in the form of an organization.
