He is popular as Sadhguru for his works in Yoga Mystic person. His full name is Jaggi Vasudev. He was born on 3 September 1957 in the Indian state of Mysore.
Sadhguru was married to Vijayakumari. Vijyakumari met her ex-husband in Mysore, India. They soon fell in love and got married in 1984. They had one child called Radhe Jaggi, who is Sadhguru’s daughter. Vijyakumari made it to the headlines in 1997 after her mysterious death to Mahasamadhi.
This is an act of intentionally and consciously leaving the body in one’s yoga sadhana requiring utmost dedication and determination. Sadhguru was charged with the murder of his wife after the complaint was filed by his father-in-law a few months after the demise of his wife. It was reported that her Mahasamadhi happened in a program conducted at Isha Yoga Center, her ex-husband’s foundation in Coimbatore, India and was witnessed by hundreds of people.

1.He is the founder of the Isha Foundation that offers Yoga programmes all over the world.
2.He has been actively involved in social outreach, environmental initiatives, and educational programmes.
3.For his contribution towards spirituality, the Indian Government conferred him the Padma Vibhushan award on 13 April 2017.
4.As a child, he got attracted towards nature and liked to spend time in a forest near his house. He also developed a love for reptiles like snakes during this time.
5.At the age of twelve, he met Malladihalli Sri Raghavendra Swamiji and learned the simple yoga asanas. According to him, he has been practicing these asanas regularly without a single day’s break.
6.He was interested in travelling and motorbikes during his college days. He also used to go to Chamundi Hill near Mysore with his friends for nocturnal drives.

20.In order to improve the health and quality of life of poor people in backward areas, he started ”Action for Rural Rejuvenation” (ARR) programme in 2003 that has benefitted over 7 million people of 4,200 villages till now
